[A / C] [52. lessons]
Prompt: 52. lessons
unseemly (A)
One of the other people who Camber Locrinis was not smiling. If someone if
I noticed, not commented on anything, only their mother, at times, told him not to mistreat the child, although always with a smile that softened the rebuke that, after all, that he did not want to be.
Their mother had always been, in the eyes of Albanactus, the quintessence of femininity: small, quiet, modest, unassuming, fragrant, sweet, sometimes sad but never for something specific or imminent. In a sense, vague, their mother, with her kisses on the cheek just mentioned, its smooth and light but warm clothing, heavy forms, his eyes wet, his hands still. A woman who was lit with love for her husband and children, and always shining, even if distance. More than once he had intended not to use stock from a distance, without approaching, as if that intimorisse the eldest son, as if he could not understand it. Albanactus not remember, however hard he tried, at a time when he did something to drive away the woman, or for hunting, or had suggested such things even if inadvertently, and had become a mutual misunderstanding, even though so filled with love.
The relationship with his mother Locrinis was completely different. Albanactus he remembered with a child in her arms, around her neck, intent to cover it with kisses, a cuddle and stringerselo him, almost frantic, as if at any moment someone had to take it away. When her husband and two other children returned home, after a trip to Diagon Alley, the look and the woman's words were directed at them, but my hands were always busy stroking his youngest son, to hear him anyway his presence. Locrinis when he went to Hogwarts, their mother had cried every night until the child was returned to the Christmas holidays, after the woman appeared to have reached a degree of calm, but always welcomed him upon his return with a fury and a desperation that seemed to Albanactus contrary to his character, and slightly inappropriate.
Albanactus had the impression that even if his Father had ever tried to instill some good head on his younger brother, his mother would oppose with all herself. Probably due to this constant attention and protection of the woman, then, Locrinis had grown weak, frightened by anything, just as uncertain and inconvenient.
And of course, laughed at Camber.
Camber, who smiled peacefully at the age of eight years in the world, his brother laughed so ill suited to the family philosophy, but tolerated by their father, and then also Albanactus. Locrinis he was clearly hurt and probably, when no one saw him, he went crying to his mother that if it were someone another might have also been influenced by the husband, but this being the middle son said not to take it to the small and cuddled more.
Albanactus was supposed to be a way like another to grow a spine Locrinis, in spite of everything.
Despite being spoiled out of proportion, however, his younger brother always obeyed the orders of Albanactus without a murmur, and did so with diligence what he was told to do; Albanactus was relieved by this, because it would be irritating if his parents had to fight about the treatment of his brother. When his father had beaten Locrinis after the child was went to browse in a closet stupidly disturbing a Boggart, his mother had not spoken for a month, and was rather bleak. Camber did not react particularly well, perhaps because it was he who told the incident to their Father, and for a long time he had treated his brother worse than usual.
One question arises in the mind of Albanactus, when he thought the least of his brothers: Camber kept him under humiliating and laughing at him, but if you ever had Locrinis countered, reaching perhaps to offend him, would go against un'insubordinazione an older brother? And if not countered, how could he prove that he is a spine? Constantly swallowing the toad? His father would have called a coward. And let the curtain so, did not amount to encourage Camber to commit outrages on who was weaker, which seems rather unseemly?
Watching his two brothers, Albanactus can not help but feel frustrated by this dilemma.
Ridiculous (C)
Camber is raging and the only thing I can figure is that his mother has always refused to defend him, but no problem to meet with His Father to help the sgorbietto that keeps him, always near, and that fills them with attention. The brother who had everything by doing nothing, which has won the right to food, but they forgot all the rules to which all normal people have had bend instead, the special brother. Camber does not understand yet what's special about Locrinis (as well as completely fails to explain why Albanactus is also special in the eyes of his father), because his mother to treat him that way, because his father let them do.
And it is so easy to simply break Locrinis to smithereens with a few well placed words, or a laugh that makes him realize how little is special, what is ridiculous. And whatever his brother does seem designed to irritate him. And every time he steps away, every time it is increasingly angry with the child who can not defend themselves and not call anyone to do so in his place. Because the truth is that the most that seems to Locrinis is sulking, and never called his mother to defend him, despite her tears, and although she wondered if there was any problem, he denied ever saying that everything was fine. And sometimes
Camber is crying, and wondering why no one stop the massacre of his brother.
