I try to write in a diary about every week, but it 's a bit difficult to find the time.
We had a choir concert tonight. It was the first concert of the New Amsterdam Singers in which I sang. There was a moment in the Mass for Mechem that was the only singer who sang (for only three or four seconds) because I have a very loud and clear (not a good voice, but and 'clear). It was inspirazionale (?)
Tomorrow I have no time to do anything. While clase, do homework, listen to Josie in the concert orchestra (because 'beep' the main part of the oboe in the Mozart piezo. ... Poor girl does not like the director of the orchestra, and 'put it in embarrassment. She is about to graduate. 'Cause must embarrass her so late in the school? "I do not know. Her boyfriend, James, and I go to a concert, and when josie give' the grant to the orchestra, the acclaim .) and do many other things. I could meet a friend at Starbucks for a coffee ', but I do not know if I have' the time or not. I do too, and I feel a bit 'crazy. If you do not go to a doverei clase tomorrow I would feel better. Maybe go to the museum or walk in the park - the leaves in this period are beautifull, especially for a girl from California - I would do anything I can 'do more' human.
Good. Now I can sleep 'do more' human, therefore I will do '!

After meeting a kiosk that had "Today" a day in summer, I could not see him in other newsstands. But I have always had huge success. Tonight, I was in Barnes & Noble, with my friend, Heather, and we tried a weekly Pilates (always tried to meet her when we were at B & N, but, as "today" does not happen.) Heather raised "Vanity Fair" and read it for a moment and he put down '. "Why 'did you put down'?" I said. She said, 'Why not' English. E 'in Italian Vanity Fair. "
WHY 'nobody told me that you can' meet most of these magazines' popular in Italian?!

ROME, November 13, 2004 - It is off last night after a long illness at his home the master Roman Carlo Rustichelli. To assist him in his last moments his wife Evi, his daughter, the actress Alida Chelli, his son Paul, and grandson Annichiarico Simon, son of Alida Chelli and Walter Chiari.
Rustichelli, 89, was one of the most prolific film composers of the postwar period. Nominated for an Oscar twice wrote over 400 film scores. The funeral will be held Monday at the Church of the Artists in Piazza del Popolo.
Born in Carpi, near Modena, December 24, 1916, Rustichelli he majored in piano at Bologna, he worked in opera houses as a substitute teacher and then began to write music for cinema, becoming one of its most fertile.
established a partnership with Pietro Germi, which came out masterpieces such as Lost Youth (1948), In the Name of the Law (1949), Path of Hope (1950), The Robber of Notch Wolf (1952); The railroad ( 1956), The Straw Man (1958), Divorce Italian Style (1961), Seduced and Abandoned (1964), Ladies and Gentlemen (1966), Alfredo, Alfredo (1972).

I did not write in this diary in a long time. I learned so much Italian, but I do not have time to use it or write about it. So I started reading "The Day", an Italian newspaper kiosks, for megliorare my vocabulary, and 'look for things where I can talk. ('Cause there are just times when you can' speak in his day, no?)
And 'interesting to read about non-classical composers. Of course I know a lot of Berio and Dallapiccola, our composers' popular in the twentieth century. But the composers' popular soundtracks are Americans ('cause, of course, the Americans are all the more' great film.) I think the differences between American and Italian soundtracks. They are different? I think the Italians are very different film - like make fun of some things ... in america, we do not have that sense of humor.

I went to Starbucks two weeks ago, and I saw the magazine called Today . I've just crashed the newsstand to buy it: it was the last magazine today. I really enjoyed reading it. The magazines are very easy to read because they often know the stories for the news. Today is a bit 'shabby, but at least I'm interested! The most dificult to read advanced books is that you can read abbastaza (without consulting the dictionary) to have fun.
then I'm in Los Angeles to visit my. I did not bring much, but of course I brought a dictionary of Italian. I'm here for three weeks and then return to New York to begin the final year of my master's degree in composition. (Probably I will do another degree after this.) But this course of study is very difficult and very time gast (to do trivial things). Then
. The Olympics begin in ten minutes! And for the first time, I have a TV to watch! (Why in NY, I do not have television, so I could not watch the Winter Olympics two years ago.)
The halogen lamp is a great comfort to me. I like to stay (awake) at night, close all the light in the room, and work only for the light of a halogen lamp. I have reported about when I feel lonely or a bit 'scared. It may seem strange, but it is better to drink or do drugs, no? Halogen is sweet and pleasant, and reminds me when I work late at home in New York - only I do the work, and not to worry about with other things. Just me and the music they are writing. And the light. And nothing more.

This item is not' the first - always have problems with your computer and therefore can not display the entries that I wrote on my computer.:: sigh:: (I know, "sigh," perhaps, does not mean the same in English and in Italian:).
Write here and dificult, because I can only I write those words yet. (So, I mean bad!) But if you talk more 'you learn a lot, no? I worked for Zelma morning. She speaks French and German, and a little 'in English, and can' read and write ebraio (strange, no? Forget many words, but I have not forgotten "ebraio!)
The title comes from the diary book, "If a winter's night a traveler, Italo Calvino. I read it in English, and perhaps one day I could 'read it in Italian. I found when I went to Italy this summer. But read it - now I read children's books! The Romance of Calvin are dificult to understand when you understand the language!
